Our Story
The dream began after a decade in education and social programming. Two energetic and idealistic social workers saw a void in the therapeutic space. Therapy was primarily talk-based, often times monotonous and seemed all too often lackluster when relating to children and teens. Having connected with children and teens both in and out of the classroom we have seen their ever evolving needs, and assisted along the way. In a world ever evolving at a breakneck pace, the delivery and structure of therapy sessions needs to keep up. Enter PlayRight.
Our Approach
At PlayRight, we blend movement and play into each session to help children, teens, and families work toward their desired outcomes. Gone are the days of fidgeting in place and waiting for the clock to run out. Our goal is to assist in a manner that will result in your child enjoying the time together and looking forward to returning. We aren’t couch therapists, though it’s there if you need it. With our client centered approach, interactive and dynamic sessions, and overall incredible clinicians, who are knowledgeable, experienced, and have great personalities (in our opinion 😉 we have created a space where getting assistance has never felt more accessible, empowering, and enjoyable.
